Repairing an RV door.

Not mine but a good friend that's a bit shy on such a sort of job. It's an older travel trailer door, 1986, and it was almost beyond hope. As we unscrewed the hinges, the whole door just fell into my arms, surprisingly a 5 lb bag of potatoes weighs...

Water Cooler/Filtered Water

This might be a totally crazy question and I know its a newbie one. Talking it out will help me decide what the pros and cons are.We have a compact Primo water cooler/heater that works with the 5 gallon refillable water bottles. We've tested to see h...

Refrigerator door travel lock

I switched to a residential refrigerator and needed a way to hold the door shut. I came up with this. It screws into a threaded hold where the hinge would mount if the doors opened the other way. The foam is a piece cut off a pool float.

door keeper

I keep having problems with my door keeper that holds walkin door open. They get stretched and don/t work. I know they don't cost much but today I did a ZIP TIE MOD to mine and works great. It keeps just enough tension for door to stay open :B

Thinking of purchasing or making an awning shade screen in case we find ourselves at a sunny site. Do people find an 8 foot drop too big or is a 6 foot drop good enough?
