Jump Start Battery
98% of the time we either have full hookups or are running the generator full time (NASCAR and Tailgating). However, occasionally (National Parks & Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta ie) there are quiet hours where we rely solely on battery power. I have one battery in the 5th wheel. If it is cold and the furnace blows much of the night I run out of battery power. I was thinking of using one of those jump start battery packs to supplement when we are relying solely on the one battery. I would install Anderson connectors on the inside of the trailer close to the power distribution panel. In the morning when generators are allowed again, plug my jump start battery pack into the wall outlet and recharge. This only happens once a week every year or so. Would this work? The added benefit is if I needed to jump start my TV or someone else's vehicle I would have this portable pack.
