Well added a step

We just added a 2" lift to the 5er with the correct Track system, and already have had issues with a tall 1st step. Went to the RV show in Salem, and tested 4 step stairs. Found one we liked and ordered from Etrailer.
Install was a one person operation (with the assistance of my transmission jack)! :B Sorry no install pictures, I left my phone home. :S

It took all of about 20 minutes to do the R&R, I did add a couple "L" brackets to the lower frame and that made them very solid.

  • Nice looking steps. Don't forget to measure your new clearance height with the 2" Correct Track lift.....=)
  • We did same conversion sold original total cost $25 love them
  • We have been looking at four step steps.Only problem is they are attached to a new 5er.LOL
