StableLoad Vs Timbrens

I am taking delivery of a new FW this weekend and it has really been great to get all the different opinions on numerous posts. My next decision to make is a suspension enhancement on a chevy 2015 2500. I was set on Timbrens as I have had experiance with them before and are very simple but do NOT like the unloaded jolts that you sometime experiance. I have just recently learned here on this forum about the Stableloads and they to seem very simple with no loss of ride quality when not activated. My question is, will the lower overload spring, when activated by the Stableloads be as effective in mitigating truck sag as the Timbren SES? BTW, I have had airbags in other trucks as well and for sure do not like the unloaded ride even with a few pounds of air in them.

    I know you said you didn't like air bags, but Airlift Ultimate can be run empty with zero air. Sorry I don't have knowledge on the other products you ask about.

    Get a 3500. There is more to having an adequate tow vehicle than installing a crutch on the rear suspension to handle the trailer. What are you going to do for the entire suspension system, brakes, rear end ratio, engine, transmission? All of those items go into determining what your truck can handle.

    I think you will like them, get wireless one air compressor with them. Very easy installation too. Good luck

    Guess I need to ask, WHY do you need to do suspension enhancements to a 2015?? If you are buying new, why not buy enough TV in the first place??
    What size 5er you looking at that a new 2500 needs "Suspension Enhancements" to carry?

    My truck will be fine.
    Trailer is 9750 dry.
    Max weight 12,900.
    Dry pin 1825.
    Assumed approx loaded trailer weight is 11,500.
    Assumed approx loaded pin weight 2200-2300 lbs.
    I just have a preferance to sit with minimum sag.

    How do you know the truck will need any suspension help.

    Makes no cents/sense to spend bucks on suspension help if the truck won't need it.

    I always load the truck and trailer and make a short trip and then make my decision on suspension help is needed. You can always add your aftermarket suspension choice any time down the road.

    My son has a 2015 2500 Chevy Z71 Dmax/A and pulls a 34' BH 5th wheel trailer with no sag and no suspension help.

    I wouldn't respond to weight cop comments as they will hijack your question and get your thread closed.

    I have Timbrens on my current 2500 and have not experienced the unloaded jolt you talk about. They sit 1" above the axle so it would take quite a big bump to allow them to make contact with the axle.

    As others have said why not hitch up and see how it sits and tows.

    I will for sure hitchup before purchasing any additional aids.I have experiance with my 3/4 ton suburban and how it would sag with much less weight.I did install Timbrens on the suburban and that is where I experianced the unloaed jolt. I am simply researching the issue before needing it. Thx for replys guys

    Apples and Oranges that 5er should not put a big sag in the 2500.
