Do yourself a favor and buy a 350/3500 diesel dually. If you want to upgrade to an even bigger rig in the future, you'll never have to worry about not having enough truck.
True and not true :B. I had the same thought process but now I have to buy a newer dually as my current one is overweight with the new rig. Make sure to buy a late model truck.
I just looked you up on Google. Don't you think it's about time you traded for a little newer model anyway? :W
Oh, =that= would be an awesome project to turn into a modernized tow vehicle! Drop a late-model Duramax/Allison in it, upgrade with air ride and luxury interior... SU-WEET! :B

I second that. Only problem is you would never have a chance to relax in a campsite. People would always be stopping by to drool over it. - okan-starExplorerNot sure where ANYWHERE is , sounds like a nice place though .Thought it would be worth mentioning that depending on the state you have a drivers license in you may need an endorsement on your license to tow that weight or a special class A ,
- mekkerlExplorerCan I ask what you consider a 'late model'?
Would this be a 2010+?
I am in the market for a F-350 CC Diesel for the same reason OP is. - laknoxNomad

- 2oldmanExplorer IIPick a truck and look at the specs.
- mtofell1ExplorerYou're kind of nearing the border of what many think is the cutoff for SRW to DRW - 15,000# loaded. A DRW is the easy choice since you won't have to worry. A newer, capable SRW and you can probably stay within your limits as long as you aren't carrying supplies for the touring anvil convention.
- TucsonJimExplorer IIDo yourself a favor and buy a 350/3500 diesel dually. If you want to upgrade to an even bigger rig in the future, you'll never have to worry about not having enough truck.
