As far as the old Ford/Chevy debate if you are over 6' tall or the first number when you get on the scale is larger than one then the Chevy will be a little bit more comfortable {for the driver}. The Chevy will have less power but not much, ride and handling will be comparable, and either rig will tow your Harley just fine
I recommend a cargo trailer, mine is 6' X 10' {14' overall}, and it obviously protects the bike from weather, dirt and bad guys very well. It its so nice to have your own personal garage everywhere you go and it will also provide a lot of additional storage. Mine has 7' of headroom and since you are towing behind a large box there is no reason not to to seek the same. Loading/unloading is so easy not to mention safe.
Both of the rigs you are considering will be woefully short of payload and you should compare apples to apples in this regard. The larger the Class C the less payload you will have. Auto levelers will shorten up your payload by a couple of hundred pounds, are typically problematic and frankly not needed. Yellow Leggo blocks work just fine but some folks feel they just "have" to have them.
Check both rigs for any sign of water leaks especially around the cab/cabover connection and if you find any evidence of water intrusion... Run Forrest run!"

I like that size MH and layout you have. Does the rear storage bay go under the bed to the other side? I notice the new ones don't have that large door in the rear. Also you said the Chevy had less power than the Ford I thought the Chevy had 323 HP and the Ford 305? In your size MH is the CCC better in the Ford?
