5.5 onan advice

Question

Just got a new to us motorhome. 2009 Georgetown 340 TS..Anyhow the generator quit on the way home ..I can get it to run nicely when I supply the fuel however it won't supply its own fuel..Main tank 3/4 full,I am wondering if it the fuel pump or are there two filters?When I do the prime button no fuel goes into the bottle that I was using to check.I connected a temp ine onto the little round filter and it runs like a champ..Suggestions..??I also need to change my signature but don't remember how to edit profile.

fuel pump bad just did mine onan had problems with them about 105 dollars 30 minute easy install

take cover off gen. look at the start switch you will see 2 small wires going under gen. follow the wires to fuel pump I am assuming its a gas gen.

Could it be a cracked rubber fuel line to the tank?

may be quick way to tell is when cover off hold prime switch down do you hear clicking noise if no disconnect to small wires going to fuel pump use 12 volt test light between the 2 wires and hold prime switch down does light light  up if yes pump is bad
