Air Brake Calipers....YIKES !!! (UPDATE)
Front brake caliper needed to be replaced....Bendix Part Number K022919. Called Monaco to confirm. Using the axle serial number and proper part numbers, this is the correct part number. Checked with Bendix....$3000.00 EACH.!!!...Holy Moly Batman !:E:E.
Having been building street rods for over 40 years, I've put many many brakes systems together, but this was a total shock....next issue was trying to find the doggone things....one in Nevada and one in Indiana...best I could do....ugh!
Thanks for letting me vent.....Dennis
UPDATE!!
Coach is fixed and back on the road....National Interstate stepped up, as usual, and paid for the repairs. This is my second claim with them and they have performed outstandingly.....Dennis
