Air Suspension Issue

Just noticed a new sound when starting my RV. In the past when I started the RV, as the suspension would fill with air I would hear a few hisses. Just recently I noticed it keeps doing that every 3 to 5 minutes and the sound is a little different than in the past. I am planning on taking it in for service, but wanted to ask - can I assume I have a leak somewhere? THe ride seemed the same (good).

By the way - this is 2008 Fleetwood Providence 39R class A.

Thanks
Jaime
  • After reaching full air pressure shut the motor off and go outside and try to locate the source of the air leak. Once the motor's off it'll be easier to find.
  • possibly, the air governor is releasing pressure..... not unusual......
  • Have you walked around outside with the engine running to locate the source of the leak?
