Auto park replacement
I am familiar with the auto park system on an early Chevy P-30 chassis. Does anyone know what system is on a 2009 Workhorse chassis and how it differs from the earlier auto park system?

I am not sure of the actual year but somewhere around 2006 a parking pawl was added to the Allison 6 speed transmission and the auto park brake was removed. About 2003 the J71 auto park brake was replaced with the J72 version which was a complete redesign and a more robust system that did not see the same failure rate as the J71 version.
Knowing what chassis you are looking at (P30, P32, W18, W20, W22, or W24) and the year of the chassis (which might not be the same as the RV) would help to determine which transmission is in the RV and if the auto park brake was used.
