Basement A/C Blower

Yep it sounds to me that the ac is trying to work and it just can't.

Before you spend a lot of money on a motor, check the capacitors. A friend of mine had the same Winibago you have I think and the tech replaced the motor and then found out it was only the capacitor.

Sounds like the next step is pulling the unit out?? Is RV Products the best place for parts?

Have been down that road with a 2002 Winnebago Utlimate Advantage.

The cause was a inexpensive blower motor capacitor on two occasions.

Replaced the circuit board only one time.

You don't need to pull the unit to check/replace the capacitor,

The I.D. blower capacitor on the control panel? Heck of a lot easier; I'll give it a try, is there an easy way to test it, or just replace it? thanks

This is interesting. I like to learn all I can about these basement A/C units. Ours is an '04 Itasca Horizon 36GD with the 330 CAT. The basement A/C in it is the Colman Mach unit. They appear close to the same. Ours is making a tad bit more noise during both heat pump and A/C operations so, I'm thinking I must pull the unit and do an in depth inspection. A nice gent on another forum put out a "blow by blow" report with pictures on removal, repair and replacement. So, I watch this thread with eagerness.
