Cargo doors

Hi I'm new to the forums and new to the rv world. I just purchased my first rv for my family but it needs a little tlc. It's a 1992 Coachmen 360RD Royal, runs great, had a little water leak which was fixed. The problem I'm having is I need to repair or replace a couple cargo doors that are damaged and a windshield. Being new to rv'ing I have no idea where to look to get the best pricing for replacement new or used. I will Thank everyone in advance for any and all help and looking forward to learning and gaining knowledge from all members of the forum.

Thanks
  • I contacted Colaw and I was told they did not have anything, but they had tons of Holiday Rambler parts. So I continue my search. Thanks for your post and help.
  • I too am looking for cargo doors which I believe are made with the same material as yours. It is frp panels, very hard to find. I can rebuild them myself, very simple design. I did try one salvage yard that had a similar door which I would cut up for the material, they wanted $450 for it, no thanks. The one salvage yard I still have to contact is Colaw RV. They have alot of Coachman RVs. Let me know how you make out, I put my project off for now.

  • There is a list some where on the site that has a list of RV salvage yards, that may have what you need. I think any glass shop that works with MH should be able to get you a windshield.
  • Thanks I may have to ask some of my local body shops about making up some doors.
  • A auto body shop would be a good start. Have discovered over the years that some original RV replacement parts can become non-existent or difficult to find.

Good body shops can "manufacturer" hard to find components, such as cargo doors, etc. and paint to match.

Three bids and good references are recommended.
