I prefer I-80 to I-287 to I-87 to I-84 to I-90 to I-295 to I-495 and exit 30 if going to Minuteman CG. Don't like driving thru Scranton-Wilkesboro and the I-84 portion to NY is very boring. The I-691 route is OK except you must get back on I-84 in Hartford - this can be a traffic nightmare. I would stay on I-84 thru CT. JM2¢...
