CoachNet

Are there currently any Canadians using CoachNet? How is their service in Canada? Do they only cover the coach or do they cover the automobile also.? Will the cover my wife if I am not in the coach or auto and she is out alone?

Thanks. Bill
  • They use local operators so the service can only be as good as the locals are. They will cover the car as well as the Motor Home. They will cover your wife if she is alone too but she might have to have the card with her as some operators want that so if you have it they might not cover her. When you call they ask for your number and name.
  • Its like a cell phone...Ya dont leave home without it!!!
  • From their FAQS

Yes. Coach-Net provides sign and drive coverage throughout the United States and Canada. Coverage is also available for Mexico. However, services in Mexico are limited to $1000 per occurrence and subject to prior approval by NMC and provided on a reimbursement basis only.

Many of the Coach-Net roadside programs are all inclusive. This means that you, your spouse and any dependent children under the age of 24 still living at home or attending college are protected.
  • CN was awesome for me this winter. Needed a boost on one of the coldest days this winter. Neighbour had just called CAA and was told over an hour wait. I called CN. After hanging up the phone, I remembered I had one of those battery booster packs in the basement, but it was dead. Got it, plugged it in front of the car and hooked it up to the battery. Sat there for a couple of minutes and turned the key and it started. By the time I got in to dial the phone to cancel the CN call, I saw the truck behind my car. I was only a few minutes late to work that day, so it couldn't have taken longer than 10 minutes.
