Dual Receiver on motorhome I would like to put cargo carrier on top receiver and mobility carrier on bottom can I
Watch your tongue wt least the receiver breaks loose from the chassis. - KidooExplorerI am just going through this too. Today I went to a welding shop with a trailer shop. He will install one reveiver on each side of the installed hitch, no weld on the RV frame. I will then insert some 2 inch hitch tube in and have a motorcycle carrier bolted on it. This way I can remove and install the carrier.
Normally people will install a single hitch receiver that would support 5 to 600 pounds. With my set up, it would be stronger than just one receiver, less wooble and more secure. I will add some hitch stabilizer to the reveiver so there is no losseness in the kit. - DSDP_DonExplorerIs this what you're talking about?

It will not be on top one another. The receivers will be welded at both end of the transverse hitch bar, the same bar that the middle receiver is welded on. - DSDP_DonExplorerKidoo....That sounds like what you want to do, but the OP said one on top of the other. Either way, just find a good shop to weld it on.
- KidooExplorerOops, I just saw the OP, one on top the other
- bshpilotExplorerI've seen several "stacked" or Dual Hitch Receiver/Adapters.
E-Trailer.com has a few options - http://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Roadmaster/RM-077-2.html
Curt, Roadmaster & Reece make 'em -
- dmcgiffinExplorerI bought mine on Amazon...cheaper. I use the top receiver for our bike rack. Works great
