- JimM68ExplorerOur rig has a macerating toilet and a sanicon on the output end.
The sanicon worked great when it was shot, now that I rebuilt the pump it is AMAZING (it's not slow anymore, dumps every bit as fast as the slinky did!).
I've had a regular RV toilet. I've blown out a cheap slinky, got the T shirt. Have 2 rhino hoses in the basement, will never use them again.
The full macerator system is the only way. - BumpyroadExplorersounds to me that a jet cap is in fact the sewer solution. and getting away from the misery of a stinky slinky was exactly the reason I went with the sewer solution and macerator pump. if you enjoy playing with those stinky slinkies, good luck. filthy to use, filthy to clean, and horrible to store. other than that they are a great idea.

The 3 inch hose is no struggle,, In fact it is very easy to hook up,Swiftest of all Dump methods..No problem at all,,So long as it is in good condition it is neat and tidy.
Hookup is no harder than with a 3/4 inch hose
Only time I use the 3/4 inch with macerator is when I need to pump UP. or a very long distance.. NEVER if doing a straight dump.
I have a macerator. I choose to use the 3" hose whenever possible. I have had two unexpected clogs on the macerator. And blown the 20 amp fuse 5 times.
The 3" hose is not that big a deal. Nowhere near as bad pulling the handle on the black, and having the macerator stall! - StutchExplorerHolstein.. The Jet Cap, as I call it, is the cap that fits over the MH 3" pipe and sends a high powered jet stream of water down the hose. Basically, it pulverizes and shoots the black tank contents down the 3/4"hose. Pretty neat.
In my case, since the contents of the black tank is already liquefied, this will make sure I never get stuck with a clog. - wa8yxmExplorer IIIThe 3 inch hose is no struggle,, In fact it is very easy to hook up,Swiftest of all Dump methods..No problem at all,,So long as it is in good condition it is neat and tidy.

What's a "Jet Cap unit"?
All that said, I ordered the 25' Sewer Solution extension and the Jet Cap unit. Now I have a complete Sewer Solution system. - dcbrewerExplorerI use the three inch hose, black first, than grey, rinse with water, put up hose. Wash hands before I close the door, and good to go. Mine has the maserator but would not trust to drain through a 1 inch hose without pressure.
- StutchExplorerThank you all for your suggestions. One thing I am guilty of is OVER ANALYSING and being a research nut. During an RV Show, I asked a parts supplier what I would need to empty the tanks with 2 macerating toilets. They told me a clear cap and with a hose connection and let gravity do it. So, I bought a clear Valtera for $3 on Ebay and the sewer adapter from Sanicon. All I need now is the hose.
After many trips to Home Depot, Lowes, Amazon, and endless Google searches I found trying to find a 3/4" hose that was reasonable was impossible. I have a 3/4" water hose but trying to wind it to a reasonable size for storage was impossible.
Thanks to the discussion here, I realized this design may or may not work. I even thought of purchasing a pump to push it along the hose but that wasn't practical.
All that said, I ordered the 25' Sewer Solution extension and the Jet Cap unit. Now I have a complete Sewer Solution system. Since this is designed to work with non-macerated output I should be more than OK! I'll leave the grey tank and black tank closed most all of the time. When it is time to leave the RV site, I will dump both.
Best case, I open the black tank and it drains perfectly through the 3/4" hose. Worse case, I will see it struggling and help it along with the SS Jet. Either way, I am thrilled I don't have to struggle with the 3" pipe.
One thing I am learning... Being a Rube Goldberg is OK for some things and not so smart with others.
Thanks again ...
Mike - DKeppnerExplorerIs it truly a macerating toilet or is it a vacu-flush system? Confusing them could be crappy deal.
- jfskeetExplorerUsed a Flo jet for 5 years with out any problems. New Class A we have has a center
powder room with a macerating pump to transfer to back tank. I use a portable Flojet to empty all out at home with a Flo jet, never had a problem. Just use a 3"4 hose. I bought 2 25' that are black from Graingers so they are decicated to the Flo jet
