You made a good decision. I had Trogens put in when I first bought the MH. They lasted 4 years (I mostly dry camp). I bought Sam's club batteries in 2006 and they are still going strong. I learned how to take better care of them also which I am sure helped.
just picked & install the 2 batteries from Sam's at $99.00 beats camping world prices - BillofPAExplorerStill have the originals in our 2004.
- mscampingExplorerTwo OEM group 31's Interstates lasted 6 1/2 years.. That's without any charger.. I've have since added Xantrex Digital charger that keeps them charged when we're on shore power.. I put two NAPA group 31's with 1150 CCA each in and they are very good so far.. We got a buy($107 total each changed out) on Trojans a couple of years back, for house batteries, and they are holding there own at this time.. Mike Mathews..

- aztortugaExplorerI have the original starting batteries in my 2005 travel supreme. They are the sealed no maintenance battery but I keep a trickle charger on them permanently.Discharges from long term storage will kill a battery slowly but surely.
- Happy_JimExplorerI still have the original Motorcraft battery in my RV and it is going strong. It is 14 years old.
I a surprised myself at it's longivity. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIThis past June I replaced the dying Everstart engine battery in our coach that was installed in 2004 by a previous owner. Surprisingly, when I pulled it out, I found that it was an Everstart Marine battery, not a true starting battery. I replaced it with an Everstart MAXX Group 27 starting battery. The OEM battery in our 2002 RAV4 was also replaced then, also with an Everstart MAXX.
- RayChezExplorerIt all depends in what part of the country you are in. Heat is hard on batteries and will last three to four years. If you are in the cooler states, you might get five if you are lucky. Mine have lasted around four years. I have bought the sealed no maintenance batteries and I never have had any problems with corrosion on either the two chassis or four six volt house batteries.. One thing I do is to wash them every so often. Just a habit I guess from my railroad days watching machinists washing batteries on just about everything mechanical.
- J-RoosterExplorerMine last 4-5 years! My chassis battery (engine) is sealed so I can't maintain it just keep the posts and terminals clean!
- Executive45Explorer IIIMy experience has been about 5 years, average...unless it's an OEM, then it's four....Dennis
