Yep get rid of the bilsteins they are to stiff of shocks, get the Monroe RV shocks they are softer, also airbags will help as well.

Example as to the shock websites, Bilsteins are gas charge at 360 psi and the Monroes are gas charged at 80 psi, guess what shock rides smoother..

Will the airbags absorb enough of the blow to justify the $700 purchase?

Sounds like a good coach to me! Having owned a Fleetwood Coach in the 90's they have good factory service.

We took the new Motorhome out last weekend for a short 400 mile roundtrip. The handling was incredible. It was such a relaxing drive on the freeway. I was surprised that I didn't get thrown around much by passing trucks at all.

The only add-on the dealer threw in was a Blue Ox TruCenter, which works great. They are also including a rear Blue Ox TigerTrac but it is still on order (I'm not even sure if it really needs it).

Congrats on the MH! You will love it!

Just remember that every new coach has a break in...I have had my share of small problems fixed at the dealers (radio, dvd player, dash a/c, washer pump, bypass valve failure)

Congratulations on the new coach and on entering the Cl A world. It is a world of fun.

Take it slow and remember you have a long overhang which will swing wider than your trailer did. If stopped next to anything pull away at a gentle angle with an eye on the rear quarter next to obstruction. Ask me how I know :(

Wheelbase seems a little short, could this attribute to the wildness when driving? Have you tried the CHF?

Looks like the bedroom has a TV that could be used in transit even if you run the gen.

Effy, What is CHF? Anti-sway bars? replacement suspension parts?

I remember reading in the manual that replacement or additional sway bars will void the warranty...I hope that is not true, but i remember reading that.

But I will look at it and talk to Fleetwood to see what they recommend. Previous thread had this company, and I will check them our too. Ultra RV Products

Cheap handling fix. The stock front and rear sway bars on the F53 chassis can be adjusted. They come from the factory in the softer setting, it's simply a matter of moving the bolts to the firmer setting and reversing the brackets on the rear. It will not void your warranty, it costs nothing to do but about a half an hour and can be done in your driveway. very noticeable difference in wander and wind push. Do a search on here for CHF or cheap handling fix. One of the best things I ever did to mine as far as handling.
