Found live 12v wires

While looking under island kitchen sink I found live 12v wires that were not stripped just cut. I put wire nuts on them. It is a 2008 Damon Challenger 378. I dont know if other models have the same wiring but you may want to check.

Probably for the water ionizer that is optional.

Very normal. Some auto manuf do the same thing. It may not seem right, but they are not dangerous.

Any control switches, monitors mounted on side(s) of island (overhead lights/LP detector etc.) that aren't working?

Have you identified which DC fuse wire is feed from.......anything else on that circuit? If not pull fuse and kill that circuit
