New to the Fourm, but I work for a Semi dealer, so I got some insight on Diesel power issues.
The biggest problem with newer diesel engines is not the engine itself. yes the aftertreatment is a power robber, and with all the emissions regulations it can be a pain, but if you want more power consistantly, without having to change too much up, change the transmission settings for your unit. I am assuming that your motorhome has an Eaton Ultra/AutoShift transmission. if you want to feel more of the power, without changing the internals of the engine. go to an Eaton dealer and change the peramiter to performance, rather than economy/fuel saving.
im making wild asumptions here, but most automated transmisions (not automatic, like allison) are going to have this peratmiter.
It will have an Allison automatic. I don't know of any DP with the Eaton AutoShift.
There may be one, but every diesel pusher I'm aware of uses an Allison.
I'd assume the OPs was the MH3000.
