Gen-Turi routed past window?

I have purchased a Gen-Turi (many of the dog events I plan on attending require them) and unless I have an extensive rerouting of the generator exhaust pipe, the Gen-Turi stack will route over a large window. Is this a safe configuration? I'm not particularly concerned about the cosmetic issue of the pipe running up past the window.

My home-made genturi runs right outside my dinette window. It has never given me any problem. The pipe at that level stays cool to the touch.

I suggest you try yours and confirm that it is cool to touch when running. Even if it is warm it won't cause a problem unless it is quite hot. Mine is about 4" from the window but even if it was closer it is cool so it wouldn't cause a problem.

I run mine up right along the edge of a large window over dinette. Yes, it probably isn't best thing cosmetically but it's better than genny fumes getting into MH 🙂

I don't see it as a problem. Our Southwind generator exhaust is below a window and doesn't cause any problems.
