Holiday Rambler Neptune?

Hello all! We currently have a fifth wheel and are starting to look into a class A. We've run across a 2004 Holiday Rambler Neptune and wanted to know if any of you have any opinions on them? Any insight would be appreciated! Thank you !!
  • If it has the R4R chassis, it will ride very rough. I would test drive it over a variety of road surfaces. Ride is very harsh, to put it mildly. Yes, make sure the trailing arms have been replaced, and not replaced with Roadmaster arms, but with the Source Engineering Trailing Arms. They also offer a ride enhancement kit for the R4R Chassis. My experience was it still rode very rough.
  • In 2004 when I bought Winnebagos top of the line gas coach. HR's Neptune was on my short list in 2004. At that time it was HR's entry level diesel coach. I test drove one and liked it very much. I wanted to buy it but I was over ruled due to the Winnebagos bathroom/shower all in one room. Good Luck, in whatever you buy.
