How to fix a leak on the dashboard
I am having my roof replaced thanks to hurricane Irma. I also have a leak that made my dashboard wet. I am assuming the rubber extruded seal above the windshield (on the outside) needs to be replaced. I can buy the seal (I have the part number from the Winnebago website) from Amazon, as they sell it by the foot.
Questions:
1) what else will I need when I remove the old seal?
2) I have read that the clearance lights can leak also. What can I seal those up with?
3) I see there is a trim piece on the inside at the top of the windshield that has a few screws holding the trim. Does this also need to come off and be re-sealed? With what?
4) Anything else I am missing?
