My First Trip on the New Coach

It's been a week since we were at a local lake, getting a feel for the "new to us" Coach. Well, let me say that we had a FANTASTIC time and can't wait for our next adventure. Finally figured out how to post a picture on here, so I'm trying it out to share our first campsite.

    great site....where is this located....

Thanks for he comments everyone!! This is at Nutbush Creek Campground on Kerr Lake, near the Virginia border in North Carolina. It's a State Park run by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Like most state parks, it has electrical and water, but no sewer on the site. There is a dump station on the way out of the campground. Very reasonable rates...$25/night. Boat ramp in the campground and water access on practically every campsite if you want to wade around in the shallows.

And yes, courtesy of my bride of 23 years, we travel with our own Tiki bar equipment....complete with our own pink flamingo named "Rosie." LOL!!
  • Congraatulations on your "new to you" coach, enjoy lots of fun, safe and trouble free journeys....
