Newer Ford F53 and 6R140

Chassis model year 2016 while the five speed arrived in model year 2006. But be warned a 2016 coach can be built on a 2015 chassis. Check the Ford incomplete vehicle sticker VIN if having a six speed is a must have.

I believe all Ford Class A's built in 2016 and beyond are 6 speeds.

My 2016 Bounder with a manufacture date in February has the six speed. Really like it.

Did the 6R140 ever make it into the F53 chassis and in what year ?

I did see a 2016 Bounder with the 6 speed.
