All I will add is using anything metal it will get HOT. I've seen full body paint get burned by a do it your self exhaust stack. Not to mention anyone specially kids walking past your MH that might come in contact with the hot pipe.
I use the Gen-Turi. The pipe is NOT hot to the touch. The Gen-Turi also comes with adapter/instructions showing how to divert the stack to the left or right of the gen exhaust.
And if you use a flex tubing to run it on the ground away from your MH?
Been there done that and I almost died from someone doing this. Yes the exhaust is away from your RV but it runs under other people's RV's which is VERY dangerous. Many CG parks will not allow extensions on gens on the ground for just that reason.
