How I woudl do it...
First: If i ever look at a motor home with the generator exhausting under a slide I'm going to move on and look at another motor home, but that said , If I got stuck with one by accident
I'd get the Gen-turi (Genuine article) and carefully mount it
I would go to a muffler shop and get an extension line for the generator made up.. This would be the same size as the Genturi's own elbow, swedged so as to addept the elbow (aldo drilled for the lock pin) use the included adapters at the Generator end (and drill for the lock pin
Then put a 2nd pipe at least 2x the diamater (3x would be better) with lots of holes, this woudl be welded on to the smaller pipe using small bits of waste pipe so the two pipes are concentric (Look it up if you have to)
And I would still make sure the batteries in my CO detector were fresh.
