Ocala Fl near Silver Springs Campground information

Thank you to everyone for the information I really appreciate it and will look into all of them that you have suggested.

Recently stayed at Salt Springs Rec area and really liked it. They accepted my Golden Access Pass, cost $16 a night for 50amp FHU.

Which park are you going to? Currently Silver Spgs is under a take over by the state of Florida and frankly there is not much to see. Degradation of the spring has led to a lot of problems. There is a SP at Silver River SP that is W&E only but a very nice CG. About 20 miles NE is Salt Spgs Rec area a FHU NFS CG that is top notch. Rainbow Spgs SP is about 30 miles west and is a FHU SP CG.

We will be staying for the season at Ocala Sun RV Resort right off I75. The reviews for this resort are excellent. Take a look.

not a sp but we stayed at wilderness rv resort, it is a couple miles downstream on the silver river. you can rent their pontoon boat and go up to silversprings by water. the rates are very good, we paid 200 for a week or its 450 for a month. it is very nice and well kept. I cant wait to go again. good luck

Silver River State Park is nearby located in Ocala FL. Water and electric. Nice shade trees.
Silver Springs Campers Garden in Silver Springs FL is nice. Full hookups.
Ocala National Forest-Salt Springs area campground, Salt Springs, FL is also nice. Water and electric.
Encore RV Resort Ocala in Reddick FL is about 10 miles and has full hookups.

Also we like Rainbow Springs State Park in Dunnellon. about 20 miles from Ocala. Has full hookups, nice size sites.
