We purchase or Cayman last December and couldn't be happier. Happy Trails.
Have you had the rear trailing arms replaced?

In order to have them checked, they have to unbolt the air bags, cross tube, shocks and U bolt, then lower they arms to inspect them. This is about a 2 hour job, and do not let them fool you on how long it takes, this is not high tech science, just nuts and bolts.
I had mine check out on my Cayman 2003, not a sign of crack. But I had them beefed up just in case, two 1/2 inch plates on each side of the arms where they crack. If they crack, it will be under or over the front portion of the Axle, from the photos all over the Web, I never saw any other place where they fail. If they fail, you could be in trouble, the Axle will move.
If they have been replaced, it will be a straight arm from rear to front with a triangle mount to the front attachment, not the bent one.
Here is a site to check out.
