Thanks for being patient with me. I know I have been asking lots of questions that may be able to be searched, but I really appreciate the efforts to bring me in to the fold.

It's nice to feel that others are there to help out, when in need...

Sometimes the original MSRP is quite a shock. I had the build sheet run for my 2002 Beaver Marquis Emerald and it was $751,082.

Regarding the Aladdin system, there have been a lot of interesting problems with it and many conversions to the Silverleaf. IMHO, the Silverleaf is a superior system and is well supported. I also believe they make a drop in replacement for the Aladdin for this very reason. I really like ours and it's original equipment.

A battery charger that works off solar. :h Or is it a charger that charges the sun's batteries? :)

More properly battery maintainer. Keeps starting batts topped up when parked.

$1,185 for a maintainer? Please.. it has to be more than that, especially with 8 batteries and a resi fridge.

More than likely it's one or two 100 W panels with controller.

I would hope the OP would know.

Look at the break down for the Solar charger. They list the optional residential refer and then the $1185. They add 4 more 6-volt batteries AND the Solar charger for that $1185. Doug

Not sure I follow you, but I was hoping the OP would know. As he hasn't taken possession yet ( or even bought it) he may not.

I just was curious if this 'solar charger' is worth anything close to a grand. 'Course if you can afford a $.5M coach you probably don't care.
