I have owned my 05 National SeaBreeze coach for about 3 years. The jacks worked the day I bought it used from the dealer. The next time I tried to use them, nothing. Fast forward to yesterday when I finally replaced the jack motor. Now bear in mind, I am a newbie with jacks.
The system works now but I have two issues. First, when the pump motor is running, it sounds awful. I suspect that the bearing in the plate may be shot? Anyone have some pointers?
Second, when the front jacks lower and start lifting, the driver's side jack will drop slightly resulting in the coach leaning to the driver's side. It's my understanding that the front jacks are tied together and should self level. I don't think this is normal. Am I correct?
Note that I can only raise and lower the front. I level side to side using the rear jacks.
