The stair topside is finished with the standard stairnose molding but if you look closely a couple of details are visible.
Screws used to secure the molding. I found a flat tan spray paint, roughed up the screw heads with a wire wheel and finished to match the floor.
I cut about 3/8 inch of the sharp tip off of the 90 degree corner of the molding joint because it looked way to fragile when I left the tip on. The result is much more durable. Time will tell.
