Replaced the carpet

Well, I finally got the courage up to replace the carpet in the MH. It was an interesting project, my main concerns were what to do with the slide area, around the driver's area pedals and steering column and the entry. We decided to go with a mosaic tile in the entry stairwell. The flooring material is a laminate. It turned out great, if I don't say so myself.

Thanks for the kudos.

The stair topside is finished with the standard stairnose molding but if you look closely a couple of details are visible.

Screws used to secure the molding. I found a flat tan spray paint, roughed up the screw heads with a wire wheel and finished to match the floor.

I cut about 3/8 inch of the sharp tip off of the 90 degree corner of the molding joint because it looked way to fragile when I left the tip on. The result is much more durable. Time will tell.

That looks Great!
I especially like the detail at the top of the stairs - very nicely done.
