- pnicholsExplorer III wonder if a 30 amp service RV could support a couple of 11K air conditioners if each air conditioner had one of these on it:

I successfully run one 13500 on 15 amps. By definition 30 amps is twice as large, therefore running 2 13500 on 30 amps may actually be easier than running one on 15. The compressor start ups are not likely to coincide.
It is true there won't be a lot left over for other purposes. So I would do as I have done with my water heater. I added an additional shore power cord with male and female plugs so I can switch back to the OEM wiring in 20 seconds if I so wish.
The real risk is low voltage (brown out). That can be solved by adding an autoformer. - j-dExplorer II

If they're of any size, (BTU's), then YES. The option of two 11,000 units, just thinking without checking, would not run both on 30A. Two 8,000's? Sure, but WHY?
There are Load Shedding devices, but they mean two won't run at once. And I'm sure two 13,500 units won't run on 30A. Friend had a 33-ft Class A that was 30A shore tie and a 5500 Watt Genset. Could run two A/C on the Genset, but only one on Shore Tie. - VA-ApraisrExplorer IIAssuming to install 2 a/c units, you would have to have 50amp service??

- pconroy328ExplorerTwo AC units are now an option on some Jayco Class C's.
I know because I have one 15K AC unit and it's not enough to cool the coach. Two 11K units are available. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
If there is a vent available then 2 Air Conditioners could be installed.
