Selling of MH (Decision-Decision)

I lost my DH to brain cancer 5 years ago, when we were 54. I kept our TT on a seasonal site for 2 years after, then sold it and regretted it every day since! My new DH loves to camp as much as I, and we bought a new TT to make new memories in!

Lost my DW. Can't believe I lived though it. Didn't want too. Getting ready to go full time just like we planned.
Never had that last moment as she was killed by a drunk driver. But she loved the road and boon docking was her favorite parking spot.
Going forward to honor her and the life style she was so looking forward too.
Look into your heart and determine what exactly you want.
From your post it seems you want people to talk you out of selling. Find a group in your area that travel together. There are several here in the southwest.
Live brother and thereby honor her memory. Some southwest Indians believe that a person's soul lives on as long as someone remembers them.

Sounds like a perfect hotel to stay while visiting your daughter in the driveway and you can have your privacy.
You might even have fun going to rallies to be around people as you just never know who you might meet whether it be a female or even a good buddy or a group of people to go fishing/hunting/motorhome repairing/motorhome trips, etc.

I've seen things like this happen in my own family. I know if I'm in this situation, I'm going to keep going, enjoying life and traveling as that's what friends, family and spouses would want you to do.

Also, I also think your hesitation is telling you something. Listen to it.

My DW would want me to keep right on "Truckin", if she were not here.
Nothing would be worse than to spend the rest of your days sitting in one place.
She would want you to keep going, and you would honor her by doing so.

I can't even imagine what you are feeling right now and I'm very sorry for your loss. I can tell you this, my wife wouldn't be happy if I stopped doing what I loved to do. She goes with me cause she likes to camp but she learned to like camping cause she loves me and I love to camp then she loved to camp.

I suspect the same is true of you. I can only counsel service. And I know since you are a Marine you know service. That is one thing that can keep you occupied and there's lots of opportunity to help others while in campgrounds traveling or where you may stop for an extended stay.

Roy, I too would keep it. The time to make decisions is not when you are facing the pain of a loss if you can avoid it.

I would hold off on selling. It's not costing you much to keep it another year. Any grandkids? A week or two with grandpa traveling in the RV can be awsome. Noticed your retired military (thanks for your service) there are some great military campgrounds that are available for your use. You might want to make use of a few of them. Always met interesting people at the military campgrounds. Check out the singles RV groups. A chance to converse and meet with people.
