we are looking for reviews and peoples opinions on the thor Palazzo. We have looked at several coaches such as Tiffen and the Winnie of course. We love the Tiffen product but don't love many features as well as floor plans. On the Winnie the tanks are way to small.
We loved the homey feel of the Palazzo but friends told us its a very low end coach with history or failure and poor reviews.
also, would love to know your thoughts on the Georgie Boy as well.

Thoughts and I appreciate your help. I am brand new to the forum so here it goes.

JMHO. Try to read all previous posts on the MH. Lots of previous posts. Then make up your mind what you want. I would not buy any Thor RV. However, that is a personal opinion only based on what I have read on previous posts. On another forum many posts were deleted because of bad remarks about Thor. Mainly because They advertised with them. Never owned one so only opinion is what I read on forums about problems. Just do lots of research before you buy any RV.

The Palazzo is fine, as long as you dont want to use the leveler jacks, slideouts, or sliding interior doors. OH YEAH, you might lose the windshield trim (tee molding) also.
Other than that, the Palazzo seems OK. We get them in all the time for these reasons. On the THOR gasser side, the Outlaw (class A & C) the Windsport, and the Hurricane have the same misfortune.

Personally, (Im speaking just on the units we repair most often). I would consider the Coachmen Cross Country (Forest River) as far as a entry level DP. Over the Palazzo.

Now having said that, the Palazzo has nice floorplans, IMO better than Cross Country. So buy the one you like the best as both units (I mentioned) are entry level DPs and both do get returned for repair
