For those of you who have the "True Induction" brand cooktop, how do you like it.

I hear you must use pots that will attract a magnet like steel or cast iron. Aluminum won't work. Is that true?

One of the best additions to the mh. Add a set of Magma induction ready nesting pots, and you are golden.

Love it. I'm going to get a residential stove for the house.

One great thing about the portable cooktop, is that you can set a specific temperature, with, say, a cast iron crock on top of it, put on the lid and it now is a crock pot. We don't have to carry that with us now.

So far we love it. Only been out a few times this year but will be heading west in a few weeks so will give it a good testing then. I love bacon but don't like cooking it inside (spatter and smoke). My first item was boiling a pot of water and it seemed to boil faster than even the kettle.

Love it since it puts less heat in to the rest of the coach and it will boil water much faster when you are at higher altitudes. We store our portable induction cooktop in the microwave when we are on the road.
