Typical Towing Capacity for Diesel Class A

What is the typical towing capacity for diesel class A? I am going to look at 2002 Bounder that has 300 HP Cummins engine in it. I know it is more complicated than that as we have to consider another factors like GCWR, tongue weight and other stuff. I just need to know what is the typical towing capacity to determine if it is worth 3 hours drive to check it out. I know typical towing capacity for gas class A is 3500 to 5000 pounds. But, what is typical towing capacity for diesel class A.

5000# for that Bounder. Others vary from 5000 plus.

I think that according to the specs, the 2002 Bounder diesel has a towing capacity of 5000 pounds with a tongue weight of 500 pounds.
