Vista 36Y - New Model Coming?

I downloaded the latest multi-page Winnebago Vista wiring diagram for a planned project, and noticed the load center label included a section marked "Washer/Dryer". That was odd, since no Vista model offers a W/D option. Then I saw the note indicating the installer is supposed to black out that section with a marker.

However, on the last page I saw a different load center that included not only a label with a W/D section, but also two 15 Amp circuit breakers (GLD1 and GLD2), one for a washer and the other for a dryer. The "fine print" indicated this load center is for an "E36Y" model. There were no corresponding chassis wiring diagrams.

It looks like Winnebago will be introducing a larger Vista model with available W/D, but without a fireplace (the "Fireplace" section on the label is to be blacked out). Speculating, the length will be 37.5 feet, wheelbase 242", GVWR 22K, and OCCC about 3500 pounds.

Has anybody seen any other information on this model?

Probably not, but take a look at the videos (there are two, now). You can stop in a rest area and have lunch, but it sure looks like you would have to plan ahead. How about a nice chef's salad?

I was focusing on the width of the aisle by the step well. It looks to be just under 2 feet, an accident waiting to happen to a guest trying to get to the bathroom in the middle of the night. LED step lights or even a cover would be on my to-do list if I chose this model.

Winnebago Ind. also has posted a 12-minute video walk-thru of the Vista 36Y on YouTube. There is a standard 12 cu.ft. residential refer as well as a powered drop-down bunk in the front.

Vista 36Y:
The new Vista 36Y (Class A gas) is making its debut in Louisville. One of the Vista's best features is the magnificent vistas available either looking out the large front cab windows, or with a large, passenger side window looking out from the impressively attractive and functional galley island. This triple slide floorplan also features a StudioLoft drop-down bed in the cab area, new sofa with integrated recliner, three hidden TVs, walk-through bathroom and a luxurious bedroom. The 36Y floorplan is also available in
the Sunstar product line.

It's at the Winnebago website now.

Last night, I saw that Winnebago posted a floor plan and specifications for a new Vista 36Y model on their website. However, as the saying goes, if you blinked your eyes you would have missed it. The information was removed from the website this morning.

The length was a half-foot shorter than I figured, but the wheelbase and GVWR were the same.

The street side front slide started with a sofa, followed by a residential (!) refrigerator, panty, and range. Opposite the range was the galley sink in a peninsula, so the galley was in a u-shape open to the front.

The curbside front slide contained an extendable table with chairs, with a retractable TV in the buffet. The entrance door was aft of this slide.

There was a "Jack-and-Jill" bath on the street side with a corner garden shower and cabinet for an optional W/D. It looked a lot smaller than similar baths on DP's because there was no slide.

The bedroom included a standard-size queen bed flanked by shirt closets and night stands. The rear curb side slide contained a wardrobe. A new (to me) feature was a full-size flip-down ceiling TV.

Specs showed two Type 31 batteries, a 2000W inverter, and a 19-foot awning.

The specs and floor plan didn't agree. The specs didn't mention a residential frig; only a 4-door option. The floor plan showed a standard powered Studio Loft bunk in the cab area, but the specs indicated neither the powered nor the manual bunk was available. Maybe the information was removed after beta testing?!

I can play my christmas DVD without music and turn my $17 ceramic cube on instead.
