A Magic app?

Does anyone know of an app where you could put in various addresses in one unfamiliar town/city and have it logistically tell you which order you should logistically go in to get to each location? I have tried this on Maps app in my Apple products and it seems like one minute it will sort of work and the next it won’t. I can’t think how to search for an app like I am describing or maybe doesn’t exist. For example I want to go to laundromat, bank, grocery store, library, etc. I can look up each place address and then enter that into the app and it tells me which to go to first in correct logistical order so you are not running back and forth across some city. Does that make sense? THX

I just use google. I have to decide the order of stops after looking at where they all are on the map. Then I can rearrange them to save time, miles or put the bank before the shopping. BTW I do this all the time as I am a volunteer driver and have 3-8 passengers to pick up in the shortest amount of time most mornings.
I agree Google Maps is easy to do this with. I got a chuckle though about "put the bank before the shopping" since it seems so retro. No offense, just lightened my day. :)

  • Mapquest will do what you want. Enter the locations then click re-order and it moves everything accordingly.....Dennis
  • Several GPS models have what is called the Eco Mode which does what you're wanting. They will plot the shortest route between stops.
