NO dome type, if you want an open face type then it is a Winegard Trav'ler or a RF Mogul Eagle.

That very well may change come 2020. DirecTV will be broadcasting all programming in HD. That means that any programming coming from the 101 satellite will be in HD. However, it is expected that not all of the DTV programming will be available (logically, it could not be!) with a dome.
For the full DTV programming in HD you will need one of the antennas mentioned above (expensive, but worth it!).
This can also be done for cheap if you want to point the antenna yourself. A full sized home antenna mounted on a tripod will get you the exact same service. If you move frequently, the auto dishes are the only way to go. If you go somewhere and stay for multiple days or weeks then the tripod setups will save you a lot of money and only take a few minutes to setup.
