NEED ROADSIDE SERVICE PROGRAM

Not applicable
Please sell me on a good program that is NO FRILLS, Does what they say they will do, Reasonably $, and take care of us when we may need it most. One survey rated Allstate #1. I would guess the flat tire in the middle of the night out in nowhere is the worst case for now. We have a NEW Winnebago class A and are taking it from CAL to MO in 3 weeks

I have had AAA for many years. Haven't had to use them for TT yet (knock on wood)but I have used them with cars and motorcycles. I have the Platinum package that covers anything I own that goes on the road whether it be my vehicles or something in my vehicles. I looked into GS but I was unimpressed that the roadside and the GS club memberships are two completely different things. With AAA I have one package and one premium and I get everything they have to offer.

Be careful of AAA. The AAA service is regional, and some regions don't cover RV's. If your region covers RV's, but you break down in a region where RV's are NOT covered, you are not covered.

I had coach net but just changed to GSER. I did not have a problem with Coach Net except they would not cover my son when he used my 5er (Yes his name is on the title too). They said I would have to be with him or else he would have to carry his own emergency road service.

GSER does cover him and I don't have to be with him so that is the reason I changed.

Check with just adding it on to your RV insurance policy. Ours costs $4/year!! It covers everything Coach Net or Good Sam covers.

Just joined Coachnet 2 weeks ago and needed to use them when I was stuck on top of a mountain with low brake fluid. They had a guy deliver brake fluid in an hour and a half and they kept checking on me to make sure everything went okay. Talked to a tech as well.

I give two thumbs up.

I've had GS for 5 years, and used them probably 5 times. I have not had a single problem with them.
I'm sure there are good/bad experiences for any roadside service. I would think that most problems are going to arise from inadequate tow/repair service providers, or lack of providers.
To me these things are beyond GS/CN control. Its how they handle the bad situation that counts.

We have used Good SAMs for several years and have been well satisfied. Used it twice for the toad and once for the RV. The RV, a 43 ft. Dutch Star needed to be towed in April and I was well satisfied with they handled it. Unfortunately, the tow truck damaged the RV while towing it. Good SAMs handled the claim and were successful in getting the tow truck operator to pay for,the damage. It is in the shop now.

Wrong. :B

Allstate RV Road service is for RVs. I've been with them for over 14 years and used them many a time with excellent results. I'd bet GS RVS is contracted thru Allstate.

GS has a place where you can express any shortcomings, CoachNet does not.
Wrong.....I gave the info several times on how to file a "valid" complaint for Coach-Net. They have a compliance team, just like Good Sam and they normally do NOT take the vendors side, but do a through investigation and give you the results in writing. Also. CN does NOT charge you for service, as it appears GS does.......Link to a dissatisfied GS ERS customer.....
