Just water here. After my trip to the dump station, I drop in a dishwasher packet that I brought from home and add a few gallons of water. figured all the sloshing around on the trip back will clean it real good. And, from what I read on here, the soap helps coat the tank so nothing sticks.
Part of my winterizing detail is cleaning the black tank. I rinse and rinse and rinse until nothing but clear liquid is coming out.

The dishwasher soap will coat your sensors and you won’t be able to tell how much is in the tank

I think your thinking of washign soda, way different than soap. soap will actualy make the walls sticky and attract things, washing soda is what makes it slipery and stopps stuff from sticking.
