Expired Warranties
Why do so many people expect manufacturers to "do the right thing" and give them special treatment by giving them something for free after their product's warranty has expired? I frequent many different types of online forums and I find this phenomenon to be most common here, on RV.Net.
Why would somebody expect a manufacturer to give them warranty service on an out-of-warranty product, and then, when they don't get it, they come on here and bad mouth the company and product for no other reason than them just not getting their way -- getting something for nothing?
I realize that some companies will give a freebie here and there, but this really should not be expected, or the only factor of whether a company or product is good or not.
Why do so many people expect free stuff?
