Little or nothing on your post is much of a scam. Most of it is low buck stuff which may or may not have significant advantage (such as toilet paper) but is not going to change anyone's finances for the worse-given they have the RV (the money pit).
Comparing a Honda inverter generator vs. a $500 Champion is apples-oranges comparison. These have different levels of reliability and function. They are only somewhat overlapping products. I would certainly trust mission critical power needs to the Honda first. But some people don't need that. Frankly I think there should be a generator class above the current Honda..something with fuel injection, auto altitude compensation, and cat converter. Something I'd pay for..not a scam for me.
If you want to see true scam look no further than high end audio. Thousands of dollars for speaker cable for instance. And a lot more!

We have had at least one extended warranty that gave us a full refund. It was on a new purchase of a 2001 CRV purchased at Atamian Honda, Tewksbury Mass. We never used the warranty and we received a full refund. I believe we did the same on our 2005 CRV, but I'm not certain.
I sure they sold insurance like that!

I have a very important question. Some one was worried that the toilet paper doesn't dissolve in 20-30 minuets. Who the heck dumps their holding tanks every 30 minuets? I feel it is a safe bet that my toilet paper has dissolved in 4-5 days.
Bill
I rarley go for camping 4-5 days at at time.
It's not that it needs to disolve instantly. It just needs to break up enough to not plug the drain valve.
I agree the RV stuff is a waste of money. But, you just have to check to make sure what you are using is not going to plug things up.
You don't want to put Kleenex down your toilet either. Not in your RV or your house.

My post was a bit of a jab at the K&N naysayers, I also use them on my motorcycles. The ones who don't like them are rather vehement in their derision.

From one of the other threads it looks like we'll have to add K&N filters to the list since they've been in business for over 50 years, and are selling a useless item. ๐ That's got to be one heck of a marketing success.

Rubber gloves for tank dumping!
Well really I dont see any marketing for that but I get the point and agree completely.
I just have a pair of old leather gloves and use them mostly for that...I avoid putting them on when fixing dinner though...
