1141 Replacement bulb

Hello. I’m looking for some input on replacing the 1141 bulbs in my 5th wheel interior lights to LED. What do you suggest ?...Thanks in advance.
  • I got two packs of these to replace all the 1141 bulbs in our new to us 30' toy hauler. Went a little crazy and changed every single light, inside and out including the spot lights but since I needed 20 interor lights I cheaped out a little, all the exterior lights I got from SuperBright.

These have a nice warm color, not blue. Really they look almost the same as a incandescent.

  • M4Products. Not the cheapest, but probably the best.

I used These natural white Elite model But If I did it again I would use these Natural White Elite2 as they are even brighter, not the the ones I bought are not bright enough, butttt I like light.

I also like natural white, no color to it, not warm yellow, not cold blue but just pure white. I have been buying bulbs in Home Depot for the house and the kelvin numbers do not match the color at all. In those I ended up with cold white to get something that wasn't yellow or blue.

This is the third RV I have use M4Products LEDs in. I actually prefer the plate lights and when I do use them, I do away with the sockets and hardwire them in the fixture, but the present fixtures would need to have new flat metal plates made to replace the domed plates and I didn't feel like doing that (did just that on the motorhome, but was a lot of work) The plate lights put all the light in the right direction, down, with the lens dispersing a little to the sides, and the plate lights have the circuitry on a separate plate from the LEDS so they can better dissipate heat.

24 element plate light, good and bright

and 48 element plate light, super bright

By the way, the trailer I bought already had LEDs in it, but they were 1) warm white, and 2) el cheapos that already had LED elements burning out in them due to no heat sinks.

I saved a couple of them that still had all the elements working, and put them in the storage compartment fixtures since they don't get used very often.

My Suggestion is to buy one or two of any give LED and if you like it.. buy more. If not black list that one and get a different one

ECO-LED, about 20 bucks at many RV stores.. Great light. terrible price.
Others out there are nearly as good light wise but way less expensive.
  • These guys have it all. I used them years ago to upgrade my Roadtrek's inside lighting, porch light, and the step well lights. They had fast shipping, good cust serv, but I haven't dealt with them in years.

  • If you are also in a look of a scanner replacement, you can check this Actron scanner products. I also use them and they are great.
  • I see some advertise as super bright but no specs then their is color temp. Find one on Amazon 100 lumens 700k color temp, which is quite white think but designed for back up lights et bu will fit 8.5 watts.
Info needed is wattage, color temp, and lumens.
Real bright inches from your head like over sofa might not be the greatest idea.
Then there are the bay lights which use the same bulb base.
    Any Lighting specialists here?
A chart with watts, lumens, color temp and bulb life if possible.
Not going to find it on the net I bet as no one wants to let Consumers know that their puffing has not much relationship with truth.
