- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerLifeline uses a berrylium copper post and bolt. Mine has turned orangish I suspect from oxidatio.. I will brush it bright and coat it.

You have AGM batteries. The likelyhood of corrosion is MUCH less than with conventional types so just being sure the contact surfaces are perfectly clean should be enough. An appropriately sized star washer can give a little extra piece of mind. - Chris_BryantExplorer IIThat's how I did it:

+1 on the thick walled ring terminal held tight with bolt and lockwasher.
Make sure the hole diameter on the lug is no wider than on the FL1 terminal.

Perhaps one could go a step further and acquire silicon bronze bolt nut and washer.
