What is typically easier? replacing the entire waste assemby
(both blades and y in single assembly) like the pic or each of the 2 waste valves with the 4 bolts independantly?
FAR easier to replace just the waste gates ... after all, that's why replacements are so readily available.
3" Waste Gate Replacement Kit
1.5" Waste Gate Replacement Kit - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIIAssembly is slip fit/GLUED to drain pipe so you would have to CUT pipe into, shorten the pipe so you could use a coupling on each side with short piece of pipe to GLUE new assembly in place
Replace the valves via bolts in flanges.
I would unbolt the pipe side of flanges on each dump valve and remove as a WHOLE (valves and drain outlet still bolted together)
Then remove other bolts/valves...install new valves onto drain outlet and install as a UNIT--then bolt it up to drain pipes on each side - ChgoWingerExplorer

Aren't the two openings glued to other pipes? If so, it is easier to do one valve at a time
I wasn't sure. It looks like they could be.
Thanks - dons2346ExplorerAren't the two openings glued to other pipes? If so, it is easier to do one valve at a time
- Joe417ExplorerI don't think it would matter as long as you make sure you keep your O rings in place when you slide the valves in.
I've never done both at the same time.
I think I'd go for one valve at a time.
