Onan HGJAB fuel filter question.

Yes it is. The filter on the fuel pump is the newer filter that replaced the older one that had a smaller diameter and was longer. The fitting in the second picture is the adapter that replaced the old second filter when they started using just the one filter on the pump.

They are both filters. Originally Onan supplied two filters on the gennys. The one underneath the carb caused problems with leaks and at some time Onan decided to replace the problem filters with straight adapters. If you still have the carb filter it would probably be a good idea to replace it with the adapter.
