Purple & White wires in rear?
Just got home and noticed a wound up coil of 2 wires purple and white, not hooked to anything, hanging down inside the rear bumper. I checked for continuity and 12 volts with the truck hooked up......

May be used to power the third stop light that's installed in a bed cap. My '99 was that way.
