- 2oldmanExplorer IITry vinegar first. Yeah, that sounds crazy but whenever my rubber seal starts leaking, a good soaking with white vinegar, and maybe some brushing fixes it right up for another few months.
It works on coffee makers too. My Keurigs need it now and then when they start brewing lukewarm coffee. - Yes, you can do the job. You have to pull the toilet and flip upside down on a work bench. It is a simple job after that. 3 "j" bolts to loosen and you slide out the old seal and slide the new one in. Page 52 shows the breakdown. Doug
